Educational content only

Everything on this site is general education. It is written for a wide audience and cannot take account of your health, your circumstances, or your marriage.

Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or medical advice. Before making decisions about fertility, family planning, or your health, speak with a qualified health professional, and learn any natural family planning method from a trained instructor for that method rather than from a web page.

If you have an urgent medical concern, contact a doctor or emergency services. Do not wait on anything you read here.

No effectiveness guarantees

This site publishes no effectiveness figures and gives no guarantees. How well a natural family planning method works varies with the method itself, the quality of the teaching, and whether it is used correctly and consistently.

Methods are not interchangeable, and results reported for one method do not carry over to another. Ask a trained instructor about the method you are actually learning.

Not an official Church publication

Catholic teaching on this site is presented from official Church documents, and the site links to those sources so you can read them yourself.

This site belongs to the Responsible Parenthood and Natural Family Planning (RP-NFP) program, which runs under the CFLA ministry of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro. Even so, it is not the official website of the Archdiocese or of the CFLA ministry, and it does not speak for them, for any other diocese, or for any parish.

It carries no imprimatur, no nihil obstat, and no claim of Church endorsement.

Where a question of doctrine or conscience matters to you, take it to the original document and to your priest or spiritual director.

External resources and other organisations

This site links to NFP organisations, health resources, and other websites because readers find them useful. Claims made by those organisations are their own. The program does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for them, and a link is not an endorsement.

Where a page presents a claim from a particular method organisation, it is labelled as such, so you can tell whose authority stands behind it.

Errors and corrections

The program checks its sources, but mistakes happen. If you find something inaccurate, out of date, or misattributed, please report it through the contact page — say which page it is on and what should change — and the program will look into it and correct it.

Please do not include personal health or medical details in that message. The program does not collect them.
